On Friday, December 12, 2025, Deaf Santa Claus had its Arizona Premiere as part of the Sedona International Film Festival, screening at Salem Cinema in Sedona at 4:00 PM. The Sedona International Film Festival, one of Arizona’s most respected curated festivals, programs a year-round series of documentary and independent feature screenings, and the Deaf Santa Claus booking joined an end-of-year slate of community-focused films.
The Sedona screening was particularly important for the foundation’s Southwest reach. Arizona’s Deaf community is geographically dispersed, and Sedona — a smaller venue than the major-city tour stops — gave the foundation a chance to engage with audiences who might not otherwise travel to a Phoenix or Tucson screening. The festival’s regional reputation and tourism draw also brought audiences from neighboring states.
The screening was presented with the foundation’s standard accessibility setup: open captions throughout, ASL interpreters available, and a Q&A structure designed to accommodate Deaf and hard-of-hearing audience members.
