Beginning Sunday, December 14, 2025, Deaf Santa Claus opened a theatrical run at SIFF Cinema in Seattle — the city’s largest arthouse-cinema operation and one of the most influential independent-film venues in the Pacific Northwest. SIFF Cinema’s programming reach extends well beyond Seattle proper into the broader Puget Sound region, making it a strategic complement to the earlier Grand Illusion premiere.
The SIFF booking was anchored by the Awards Buzz review and the strong audience response from the November 20 Grand Illusion premiere. SIFF Cinema’s audience — broader, more diverse, and drawing from a larger geographic catchment than independent cinemas — gave the foundation a chance to reach Pacific Northwest viewers who might not have made it to the smaller November screening.
The theatrical run was presented with open captions throughout, and the foundation coordinated with SIFF on community Q&A nights and partnership outreach to Seattle-area Deaf cultural organizations.
